Qualifications

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Repairs damaged walls, prepares finish for painting, seals penetrations in fire walls, repairs door damage and minor cabinetry repairs.

  • Minor metal stud construction abilities for minor structural wall modification.

  • Maintains paint supplies and inventory of standardized colors, attic stock of materials.

  • Assists with other necessary departmental duties, repairs and maintenance as required.

  • Orders all necessary materials and supplies needed to complete assigned project.

  • Assisting with other necessary departmental duties, repairs and maintenance as required.

  • Completes assigned work orders received from other departments, makes repairs in a timely manner and communicates resolution to the users.

  • Completes assigned work orders with documentation completed in Building Maintenance program.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Has knowledge of painting tools, techniques, and ability to complete painting project in a professional manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Five years minimum of previous related experience in Commercial painting.
